Nurse Bags donated to grateful Hospice at Home team, following loving care

The Hospice at Home service offered by the Mary Ann Evans Hospice takes caring to the heart of the community. Established in 1994, the Hospice at Home team are dedicated to providing a highly personalised, caring, safe and effective care service in your own home, ensuring patients and family’s needs are met and wishes fulfilled.

Following support from the team for her husband Christopher, June Gibbs and her daughters Kay and Jill donated funds to the hospice in order for the team to purchase nurses bags, allowing them to comfortably carry the equipment they need out into the local community.

“We would like to thank all the Mary Ann Evans Hospice Team, especially The Hospice at Home Nurses, for their loving care, so graciously given to my beloved husband Christopher and our family. They always came to us with a lovely smile and radiated happiness, thus starting our day well.

After discussion, the Hospice at Home nurses decided that they would find the purchase of new Nurses Bags most useful to them, so from the donations given in memory of Christopher, ten bags were purchased.

Thank you Hospice at Home Nurses for your kindness to us”.
