Year-long partnership announced for Lea Marston Hotel and the Mary Ann Evans Hospice

The Mary Ann Evans Hospice are delighted to announce that they have been chosen as the ‘Charity of the Year’ 2017 for the Lea Marston Hotel. The year ahead will see the hotel organise events and activities for guests and staff, aiming to raise plenty of funds for the local good cause while increasing awareness of hospice services in the local community.

Liz Gibbon, Sales Manager at the Lea Marston Hotel, said “At Lea Marston Hotel we pride ourselves on our traditional family owned heritage and have a vision to be the best independent family owned hotel in the Midlands; our mission is to create great experiences and lasting memories for all our guests. But beyond that we also pride ourselves on giving to our local community with the aim of raising money each year through numerous events held at the hotel for both guests and staff.

The decision to raise funds for the Mary Ann Evans Hospice was very easy, as it is our way of saying thank you to the hospice for taking care of one of our loved colleagues who sadly passed away last year.”

Hospice Fundraiser, Natalie Smith, said “The support of local businesses and organisations is vital to ensure that we can reach our voluntary fundraising target of £2,500 each and every day. We’re looking forward to working with Lea Marston Hotel throughout the coming year and want to thank them for choosing us as their Charity of the Year”.
